Tushar Malhotra

Tushar’s journey in public policy began in a government classroom, where he taught as a Teach For India fellow and witnessed the systemic challenges that shape young people’s access to opportunities. That experience sparked his interest in reimagining how education systems can be more adaptive, data-informed, and equitable.

Since then, he has worked with governments and national institutions on education systems reform, strategy consulting, and technology integration, designing and implementing large-scale initiatives at the intersection of education, skills, and innovation. His experience spans policy design, curriculum development, partnerships, on-the-ground implementation, and data-driven monitoring, including contributions to national curriculum reforms under NEP-NCF for Vocational Education and the exploration of AI integration in public systems.

Tushar is passionate about leveraging evidence, design, and collaboration to build public systems that are human-centred, scalable, and ready for the future.
