Mansha Siraj

Project Associate, Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP), NITI Aayog

An economics graduate from the University of Delhi, Mansha harbors a keen interest in development policy and social innovation projects. Prior to her engagement with the IIC, she served as a policy associate with an international health advocacy and communications firm. In this capacity, she supported multiple projects across the Indian and African public health landscapes to analyze health budgets and advocate for improved fiscal practices. During her undergraduate years, she worked with women entrepreneurs under the aegis of Apne Aap NGO and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. In 2016-17, she helped ideate and execute two fully functional, and now self-sustaining, social enterprises for women in the snake charmer’s community in Najafgarh and single mothers from the Afghan refugee community in Delhi. Mansha is now looking to gain a more robust experience in policy making and support innovation in the development space.

Through the IIC, she hopes to further her understanding of social impact project design and implementation and develop an insight into inclusive social policies.
