Yashna Arora

Project Associate, PMJAY

Yashna comes to IIC with experience across public policy, governance, and program implementation. She holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Delhi and completed a postgraduate program in Public Policy, Design & Management at the Indian School of Public Policy (ISPP).

She began her professional journey at the Quality Council of India (QCI), where she worked on projects across government ministries related to e-governance, public grievance systems, and quality improvement in public service delivery. Her work involved stakeholder coordination, project management, and data-driven decision-making at scale.

Following this, she pursued public policy at ISPP, where her interest in governance and systems thinking deepened. She later worked with The Convergence Foundation (TCF) on projects in collaboration with NITI Aayog, contributing to policy and research initiatives focused on economic growth, and ease of doing business.

Yashna is particularly interested in understanding how policy translates from paper to practice, and how systems can be designed to be more responsive, efficient, and people-centric.

Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, long drives, and curious conversations.
