Pradyumna Chandra
Project Associate, MeitY
An engineer turned public health practitioner, Pradyumna believes that technology is only as good as the systems and people it reaches. Her interest lies in the space where digital infrastructure meets the everyday realities of public health delivery and the conditions that decide whether a well-designed platform is actually used.
She began as a software developer at Tata Elxsi in Bengaluru, working on a real-time data visualization tool within a large-scale broadcast data pipeline, before an MPH in Health Administration at TISS Mumbai redirected that training toward public systems. As a Program Associate at PATH, she has worked on a state-wide ABDM-enabled Care Coordination Model in Odisha. Along the way she has also validated AI training data for IDSP surveillance, evaluated malaria control across 80 villages in Kalahandi, and revived dormant village health committee in rural Maharashtra.
What draws her to IIC is scale of work alongside governments on problems where a single well-designed intervention can reach millions, and where evidence can shape decisions at the level they are actually made.
Outside of work, she reads fiction, listens to podcasts, and bakes.
