Kartik Jain

Project Associate, NHA

Kartik is an engineer with a strong interest in technology, public systems, and large-scale problem-solving. He holds a background in engineering and brings experience from the private and social sectors to his work at IIC.

Prior to joining IIC, Kartik worked at Infinera, where he developed expertise in large-scale technology systems and grew curious about how infrastructure and engineering shape everyday life. He also worked with Pratham, one of India's largest education nonprofits, where he focused on measurement and evaluation, gaining firsthand exposure to the challenges of delivering impact at scale.

At IIC, Kartik is excited to work on projects that combine technology and implementation in meaningful ways. He is particularly interested in how digital systems and institutions can be designed to improve access and efficiency for the people who need it most.

Outside of work, he enjoys reading, watching films, and thinking about what makes people tick.
