Amritha Sadhana’
Project Associate, PM POSHAN
Amritha is a policy analyst from Chennai. Her interest in public policy grew out of observing Tamil Nadu’s legacy of delivering social welfare. She believes that good ideas do not always have to begin at the national level; sometimes, the most meaningful solutions emerge from understanding a problem locally, experimenting, learning from what works, and then taking those lessons further.
With an academic background in sociology and political science, Amritha has spent over four years conducting research across education, nutrition, and socio-economic policy gaps in Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh.
At IIC, she hopes to deepen her understanding of how governments solve complex implementation problems and explore how technology and evidence can strengthen public systems without creating additional administrative burden.
Through her work on PM POSHAN, she is interested in understanding how solutions can be designed around the realities of schools and frontline workers, while remaining practical enough to be sustained within government systems.
