Friedberg graduated from the University of Chicago in 2017 as a History Major, with a focus on the history of nationalism. For her BA Thesis, she conducted research at the United Nations Archives in Geneva studying the League of Nations’ refugee resettlement programs after World War I. She was active at the University’s student newspaper, following the local neighborhood politics beat and serving as Editor-in-Chief for Grey City, the paper’s longform journalism publication. After graduating, Natalie worked with Asia Initiatives as a Project Coordinator, where she helped manage women’s empowerment and livelihood programs across India, analyzed quantitative and qualitative data to write impact reports and developed concept proposals for local partners. She is excited to return to India, after studying in Pune in 2015.
